Not being original? Using the footage from
Forever, was a really bad choice. It brought
the value down, in my opinion. Then with the
Begins type opening. It resembled Wayne in
the Begins trailer. And lastly, "truth,
justice, and destiny" flashing across the
screen was used in another Nightwing
trailer. After all of that, the costumes were great.
Nightwing's was outstanding, probably one of
the best I have seen. One scene that could have used more work is
the scene where the Joker is handed a gun.
Maybe a view more close ups and don't reveal
the Joker until he would raise his head out
of the shadows pointing the gun. (Not sure
if that would fit the story, if we know it's
the Joker, but for trailer/teaser purposes it
would have a better effect on the audience.)
A close up of a man in the shadow and he
points the hand gun at the camera. "I know
exactly what to do!" He raises his head out
of the shadow. Towards the end I liked the use of different
music and not something ripped out of
Elfman's collection. To be honest, I didn't
think that Elfman's score fit very well. If
anything, the beginning should be silent and
the images should intrigue us, and when we
see Nightwing, then a "rock ballad" type song
comes in when the action starts. Good luck and keep up the good work. Message
me if you have any questions I'd be glad to
help.
