Gotham City is in turmoil.  Crime and corruption rule a city plagued by injustice.  It has been ten years since the last recorded sighting of the Batman.  The Joker, now being held in Arkham Asylum, is not himself.  But something stirs deep inside of the man named Bruce Wayne.  Something calls to him.  Batman is back.  Harvey Dent, known as "Two-Face" makes his leave from Arkham and plans to help bring Gotham to its knees.  The Joker devises a deadly plot to destroy the revitalized Batman.  And a new friend becomes an ally of Bruce Wayne and Batman.  Batman must use his previous training to defeat his own demons and save the people of Gotham from all who live to destroy.
