Rating of: 3 of a possible 5

Very solid effort here, and an improvement, though slight, over "Path of Destruction."

The most notable thing about this new trailer being its stylized editing that really helps to sell the new film despite having a lot of the same problems as the original (BBPD). Second is that, though it's a bit hard to tell for sure, there seems to be some improvement in the dedication of the actors to their parts. Their performances seem more like those of serious filmmakers rather than kids in Halloween costumes. The sound in this trailer has seemed to improve a bit as well.

However, there is still much room for improvement. The locations chosen look very familiar... Although all the locations may not have been revealed as of yet, I hope to see a little more attention to the scenery/environment in future productions. Also, though there was improvement in both areas, the sound and acting are still lacking - particularly from the villains (similar to BBPD).

There were two major things that kept me from giving this trailer an above average rating:

1. Batman's costume - I can't be sure as of yet, but from what the trailer's shown, it actually looks worse than it did in the original. The "mouth" piece really kinda threw me off. Something should really be done about those ears…

2. The end of the trailer was poorly done. It was inconsistent with the rest of it, it broke the rhythm of the rest of the trailer and the just ended. Abrupt endings can be good, but not in this case.

The trailer was still enjoyable though, so kudos for everyone involved for continuing to make films. Keep getting better.
