Anyone use a smartphone for filming?

When looking over the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 last week, I discovered both it and my Note 4 have 4K video cameras built into them.

While said smartphones are hardly the first choice for a filmmaker, I can see where they would make a good choice when needing to film discreetly, or in other special situations.

Any thoughts on this?

I was surprised how good cell phone cameras are.
Least for close range simple movies..
Over a year ago, I had my room mate record a video for me to post on youtube.

Although, serious film makers would never use one.
They want the ability to add lenses, filters, etc...

I've used my smartphone for filming, and was impressed with the quality. In many situations, they work well. But yeah, for many of the important shots, it's better to use a professional camera.
