Just completed a little short horror flick. It's a bit rough around the edges, but I'd love some constructive feedback if anyone has the time.

Thanks!

the long intro made me hungry, tomatoes, fresh bread. Razz

It is pretty bizarre. I like how you shot it, great locations, clean filming. I think it wraps things up for what it is.
It scared me for awhile. Great dead looking make up on your actors.

I guess at the end, it was his room mate or friend that he hammered at the end ?(instead of the strange woman)

Horror films don't have to make sense; just have to keep you entertained.

the ending is open to a few different interpretations. the woman at the end could be a random solicitor, wife, roomate, etc.

i prefer to think that it isn't even the dude's house and he's having a psychotic episode in between murders. but without dialogue or more of a story, it's pretty open as it is.

there is alot of stuff we could have done better, but we just wanted to do it quick and move on.

thanks for checking it out.

I agree that it starts pretty slow. Thanks for watching it.

Good camera work. Entertaining and I liked it. Very unorthodox and strange (which is a REALLY REALLY GOOD THING). It's hard to make something not-cliché and I didn't see that coming. The hammering could have used some audio effects to make the viewer connect with the hits he was giving her. Very good short film. Keep em coming.

thanks. we had no end of audio problems. i was handling the microphone and the camera and most of the audio was blown out. had to redo all of it in the studio. I'm still not super happy with how that side of things came out.

jenny, is there anything in particular that could be removed from the first scene?
