This flick is a little special because our star Jonathan Clark (Recovery) wrote the screenplay!
PLOT:
A maintenance worker, his wife & two kids endure a day & night at the hands of four renegade vampires who keep saying "they just want to help"!
This flick has had the largest crew i've ever worked with, and would love to work with again.
It also has the most gore i've ever done (which i plan to fix).
Not sure what to do about music though, can't seem to find anything that fits.
It's morphed from a strict horror, to a horror-comedy!

From the editor's stand-point the film is going to pretty cool.

The test cut is looking awesome, dispite missing several minutes of needed footage.

As for the music, didn't you say Yom is doing this one as well?

If you go to www.videocopilot.net they have just released this new thing called "Pro Scores" which is lots of different kinds of music and copyright free I think.

kool program! a but much 4 me, but still pretty niffty!
tdk has got a point, looking at the footage im not sure what fits this. i mean the mood is kinda all over the place, there's not really anything preexisting that fits well. we've talked about getting yom ama *the guy who did the music 4 mand vs squirrel* to do it, but that delays releasing the movie by about 6months!!!
maybe once everythiong is shot we'll get a better idea. i wish there was a standerd mood on this, but it goes everywhere @ once!!!

UPDATE:
So we shot more on saturday, just got a few car shots remaining.
We're working on a site for it and the trailer.
What do y'all think about doing a MySpace page for this as a website? it'd be a crap-load easier!

So we might be finished shooting after this weekend.
This flick has been the biggest nightmare i've ever worked on!
Fun though, but still..... nothing has gone right for day 1!!

I've always had issues with my flicks, but for the most part things go correctly!
On this thing, cast dont want to film on the days we can shoot, the shots we DO get look like reject-shots from Cloverfield for being shaky, but not shaky enough!
Plus the script has been on-set re-written so many times, that the final product isn't going to be real coherent!!!!
It's my fault.
The screenwriter and I have fought about how to do thins since the begining, and now it's showing.
It could be worse though.

Last night I lost all the footage. We have to reshoot all of it.

Just kidding.

It's not as bad as TDK's making it sound.

Yeah so it's not exactly like the script y'all went in to shoot with, but it'll still be understandable and enjoyable when all is sais and done.

I still think nudity would've helped, but YouTube'd have a cow if that got posted.

They're very narrow-minded overthere.

Cheer up man, we'll get it done and I promise: It'll be something you'll be proud to have your name on it!
