Hey everyone, so my girlfriend Kim and I got to brainstorming and came up with a new script that we plan on shooting this Friday entitled "Call Me Mr.J".

The story follows the events of TDK with Joker in Arkham. In the film we highlight 3 of his 5 weekly sessions with Dr. Harlene Quinzel. The object of the film will showcase his seduction of her in the proposed Nolan world. This isn't nessesarily based on Mad Love. It's just a cool new twist on things. I hope you guys like it, I'll post more on the film asap.

Chris

believe it or not im not actually a fan of this. its inaccurate.

1. joker would never be allowed to wear makeup while in arkham. its inconducive to his recovery.

2. he would be in cuffs at all times. he would be on death row if it werent for gotham's standpoint against the death penalty.

anyhoo, i wasnt aware of this set of films, but im pretty sure my film will be pretty different.

thanks. yeah we're going to stay true to the general rules of being "institutionalized". theres no way in hell any previous version of the joker would be allowed to survive the judicial system in our world. he would either be kept under lock and key in isolation at a maximum security hospital for the mentally ill, be put on death row or be in solitary confinement at a super max prison.

I was just curious on how the look of Joker that you are going for the look on him, if the scars on the face are the same or you just going to do an other style for him.

At least it is easy to get an idea of what the Joker looks like without his makeup in the funeral scene.

Wondering also, if this is going in under a 'Reimagining' Nolan verson of the fan-film 'Patient J'?

In anyways, I am hope that this film as another great create story from you, once more. Great luck on the film.

my goal is to distance myself from patient j as much as possible. i dont want my film to be associated with aaron's movie or paul's perfomance, though im sure dozens of people will instantly compare it. aaron's joker was obsessed with batman and had a very tim burtony cartoonishly gothic feel to it.

my approach is the way i think nolan would handle it. very real. my joker barely mentions batman once and its in an off the collar remark. my joker in this particular version is even a departure from the other film i shot in 2006. this is strictly a ledger adaption. i view joker as just trying to make the most out of being locked up.

makeup-wise, yeah it's just the scars with some darkness under the eyes. he will have dyed green hair though, so that might help. but in general this is my take on how joker would survive being joker in a real life prison situation. this includes how harley fits into the story as well.

I agree with the others. I look forward to seeing your take on the Joker. Any guess on how long this film will be and do you see this being a stand alone film or leaving the door open for future installments?

Good luck with this.
