| Hmmm... I sorta disagree. There would be ten million entries for projects that never got completed and would just sit in the database wasting space. That was the first thing I immediately liked about this site. There are other fan film sites and 90% of the content is movies that are never made.
Too many people get caught up in the idea of hyping their movie and selling it waaaay before it's even necessary. I know teaser trailers and posters and websites are fun... but it should be icing on the cake. Not the entire meal.
I don't think you should worry about promotion until you've got enough footage to cut together a teaser. Then we at least know something's on the way.
Of course many have already my rant on the growing number of teasers for films that are never made either.
I dunno. Less of this "It's Coming" attitude and more of "It's Here" says I.
But that's just me.
Like that Catwoman movie that just got uploaded to the site. An actual completed film. Not a thirty second clip that's all "Hey, I don't have any actors. I don't know when or how I'm going to film this. I don't even have a finished script. But check out this CGI and titles I made!"
And I understand, that's half the fun. Maybe I'd feel differently if the number of completed films was even close to the number of teasers.
