Hi guys,
My name is Hunter Davis, and I'm the co-creator of a new web series that just released called "The Dark Knight Retires." It's an 8 episode parody following Batman deciding to give up the cape and cowl and date Catwoman until other supervillains end up getting in the way. Think "Curb Your Enthusiasm" meets Batman.
The first 2 episodes are available now with new ones every Wednesday. So if you guys are interested, please check them out or go to our facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/TDKretires. Any feedback or support would be super awesome especially from you guys since you're all as much of a fan of Batman as I am.
Thanks again everyone for listening to my spiel.

Excellent product.
All aspects of the viewing experience are satisfying.
I have shared this promo around a lot. I usually don't share stuff around but the comedic value here is of a very high caliber.
I was skeptical but I always like to check everything out. I was pleasantly surprised. |

Hey Trickster!
Wanted to say thanks so much for all the kind words and for sharing. Really glad to hear you enjoyed it enough to do that and definitely appreciate it.
Completely get the skeptical aspect, the show being a comedy/parody and all, but we tried our best to still make it true to the world of Batman and the characters even with a funny take.
Thanks again and there's more to come! Episode 4 just launched today and is probably the best so far. |

This was actually funny. Watched all 4 episodes.
Truly a man fed up fighting crime and saving the clueless.
Det.Stevens: "Why would the riddler want us to go to a pastry shop?
Batman :"Because he's a dick!"
LOL.
Great stuff. The costume was actually pretty cool for a comedy.
Great production values. |

This is a highly watchable(re-watchable) web series.
In fact it is without a doubt the among the best 2 comedic web series' I have ever seen.
The only two web shows I could conceivably watch with a group of ppl are this one and "Tom Cruise is a Cock Block"
The only question now is... .. How much content do you plan on producing? |

Thank you so much guys! That's so awesome of you both to say!
Glad to hear you enjoyed the costuming and production values, reptile. As I said before, we really tried to make it look and feel as authentic as we could in our means even though it's this parody series at the end of the day.
Haven't heard of "Tom Cruise is a Cock Block," Trickster but that sounds amazing and terrifying, haha.
As far as content goes, we have 8 episodes for Season 1 with a full story arc, and if it does well... there's an idea for what a Season 2 and even 3 might be....but still a long ways from that.
If you're really itching for something extra to watch though, we also have this side series going on called "Robin's Video Diaries" which are a collection of vlogs entirely from the point of view of our Robin. The vlogs eventually coincide with his role in the main series and there are already almost 20 episodes up. Definitely a much smaller production value and were done after we finished filming, but they are a lot of fun and feature Alfred pretty heavily.
You can check them out here if you like:
