So anyway I have this epic Idea for a feature film. I wanted to share it and get some feedback if possible.

the basic premise is this:
Dr. Brian Donnaho has the mind of a genius, but is cursed with a failing crippled body. With only 48 hours to live, he subjects himself to his own experiment, to make the ultimate cyborg, in order to save his life. When he's framed for treason & a terrorist attack, and his close friend is murdered, he must learn to use his new powers and gadgets to clear his name, and put his bitterness aside to risk everything to stop another attack, and bring the terrorists responsible to justice.

Characters:
Renegade Characters in brief

Dr. Brian Donnaho Ph.d. (protagonist)  A scientific genius born with a rare degenerative disease that advanced medicine couldn't cure.  It made him weak and crippled for his entire life. He creates "project Semideus", an experiment to make the most advanced cyborg, and illegally subjects himself to it to save his life, after his condition worsens leaving 48 hours to live. It's a success, and he awakes to fine he's super-human, and framed for selling his tech to terrorists, who later use it to burn down a hospital. As he masters his new abilities, he becomes an unlikely adversary to his enemies, and a dangerous man to fall foul of.

Susanna Evan Lerain in Stealth Armour (support/deuteragonist) is a tenacious operative of ICON (International Covert Operations Network), their best computer programer & hacker, and one of their top field operatives. She is assigned to aid in the programing of the equipment developed for Semideus. When Brian is at large, she is ordered to hunt him down and turn him in, but when she discovers his innocence, she joins his party, and proves to be an invaluable ally, and a deadly foe.

Christopher Ian "Arbis" Arbison (support/Comic relief/tritagonist)is an eccentric genius, ICON's best inventor. He is assigned to design, gadgets, armour, and weapons for Semideus. When the experiment is a success, He becomes fascinated with Brian's new body, and abilities, since Arbis has a history of medical ailments, and believes it revolutionizes everything, and it'd be out of Brian's character to defect to terrorists. So He joins him.

Dr. Bo Hancheng Ph.D (support/confidant) is A brilliant and compass ionate Cyberneticist, and Brian's college friend from SF State. He acts as Brian's conscience and confidant. He was the one who told Brian that the government wanted to fund his experiment. Bo Joins the Semideus science team along with Brian, then later aids Brian when he's on the run.

Professor Loganheim (support/later secondary antagonist)Loganheim recognizes Brian's genius, and offers Brian to the chance to create his experiment with ICON's resources (military funding) with the catch that it has a military application, and be performed on an elite soldier first (instead of Brian). When the ICON assistant director terminates the project, Loganheim hatches a plan to break Brian in, knowing he has hours left to live.

Solomon Kang (chief antagonist)  Kang Qin Li was raised in North Korea and joined the military as the custom for men. While overseas his unit was in intense firefight, which resulted in him being fatally wounded. His comrades escaped and left him to die. He was taken in by the enemy (later revealed be Loganheim’s science team) who saved him through cybernetic and bionic implants. He awoke back in the Korean base, and was invalided back home only to find his family ashamed of him (since cyborgs are highly prejudiced in North Korea). Devastated, he left, and later learned that his family was murdered by Korean secret police, on grounds that he must be siding with the enemy if he got implants. He is stronger than Brian, because his body is all synthetic/bionic.

Assistant Director of ICON (secondary) is in charge of special assignments and operations, and oversees project semideus. He recognizes the immense impact the project could have for the military and ICON if successful, but is skeptical. Later, he orders Susanna to track down Brian Donnaho, Arbis, and anyone else aiding him, and to turn them in.

Darrel Pross (Secondary/tertiary antagonist) is ruthless criminal on parole, who designed the tech for the terrorists from Brian's stolen Tech, and who knows where and when the next attack will occur.

Lenarr Williams (secondary) Lenarr Williams is an ex-soldier, who went missing for several weeks and returned with no memory of his disappearance, except that he was in a car accident.  Brian, Susanna, and Arbis discover that he and other ex-soldiers were abducted by the terrorists and made into a fully prosthetic Cyborgs and returned to act as a sleeper, who with Brian's stolen tech could be mind controlled.  Brian and his team question him to uncover clues to the terrorists next attack.

BUBBA Bump! Stay tuned bat-fans, I have more art coming.

Also I would love to make a short film version of this story. I think it would be badass to make 3 short series out of it, each short like 7-9min long. Any thoughts?

Thanks! I got some design markers, and drew some quick renderings, I'll have to post them later today.

By the way I forgot to mention I finished a 5 page outline of the basic plot of the film, and wrote out the opening scene. So if Y'all want to read them, and possibly give feedback, that'd be super!

I got a set of utrecht design makers + nice marker paper, so I was experimenting here. Kind messed up on some stuff, but it was my first time mixing pen and marker.

Just trying to help here -

Displaying a 5 page outline and concept art leaves little for the mind to desire. For those who actually do take the time to read a five page outline (good god) I think it kind of spoils the movie in a sense. Try to create anticipation for this movie. One concept pic here, one synopsis there, an official pic/poster here. You have your entire movies character outlines online and we basically know your entire movie before we've seen it.

UNLESS.....your not sure if your going to shoot this and you just want a forums approval of your film and guidance....but I've always been of the opinion that you should always go with your heart and not worry about what others will/could possible think.

This concept I've created is for a feature film, that I probably won't make anytime soon, because it'd require a huge budget.

Naturally I enjoy getting feedback, and bouncing ideas off others. It has nothing to do that I don't "go with my heart" or I worry what BFF thinks, because I don't. Not to be crass, but I really don't care what people think about my idea, I know it's good.

Like I said, I just enjoy the collaboration, and hearing others thoughts out of sheer curiosity. They might have a genius idea I hadn't thought of that they're willing to share.

In my "Writing for Film Genre" class we just bounced ideas off each other for each of our stories. And my teacher gave me the idea that "what if Brian started off like Stephen Hawking, then to save his life, performed his own experiment illegally", which was genius. My idea before was good, but I needed something to make it unique, and that helped point me in the right direction.

Anyway, that's my perspective. I would love to make this into a film, obviously it'd be hard to make into a feature right now, but I could make a short mini-series, 3 shorts linked together or something, which follows some subplot from the feature.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I've come up with some really great ideas for the project; Especially for the villain. My friends and I are working on penning the outline to the shorts. I'll shoot you guys a premise once they're done.

For some great cyborg porn I'd go to http://www.sarifindustries.com/en/ ha! (it's not really porn, but a really sexy website, and videos.

If you watch the video when you go to the site, (it will play automatically) that's the kind of political climate I'm going for. Cybernetics are very new, and feared by humanity, and loved by corporations. That's what I'm going for, because when cybernetics become a reality (we are almost there already), it's not going to be welcomed with open-arms right way. People fear what they don't understand. And people (especially americans) aren't a fan of change.

Anyway, when I saw that video, I got stoked, because my story deals with certain politicians and groups trying outlaw cyborgs. Which I feel will add to alot of drama, since Brian ultimately becomes an unlikely hero to humans, and he's a cyborg (though he doesn't look it). Which kinda parallels to X-men a bit, because mutants are feared by humans, but the X-men save them anyway.

Oh yeah I almost forgot, here are my latest drawings:

Thanks for the support!

Looks like you are working hard on this. It's great you remain interested in your project. people like this, could be around and no one would be the wiser.

I was fascinated with the 70's Bionic Man.
The early stories were great-...meh...Bigfoot, I could do without Rolling Eyes
...TV movie was well done.
course this rode in with 'WestWorld' another great movie.

Yeah I really want to do this real soon. Oh completely, yeah I loved those shows, I watched some as a kid, that and inspector gadget. I tried getting into the new bionic woman, but it just wasn't doing it for me.

I really want to see West World I've seen clips, it looks fantastic. I hear they might be remaking it :/
