Anyone looking forward to this?

I say looking forward because of course noone here would dream of downloading the dvdrip thats been online a week or so now.

I like the cast

Kevin Conroy as Batman
Tim Daly as Superman
Summer Glau (firefly/terminator sarah connor chronicles) as Kara/supergirl
Andre Braugher (House M.D) as Darkseid

the style of animation looks great.

Will look forward to this one with great anticipation.

I love how the animated movies can get away with storylines the live action would be laughed at for attempting.

Perhaps it's me, however, I don't see any extreme differences.
I like both voices.
About your reference, I never saw that cartoon.
Is that from a Superman movie or Justice League ?

So I'm going to have to look it up and watch it.

Wasn't the strongest DCU animated film, especially after coming off of one of the strongest in Red Hood. Braugher's voice as Darkseid really didn't work for me. If they'd gotten Michael Ironside (who did it in Superman: TAS and JL/JLU) or Kevin Michael Richardson (from Shadow of Apokolips) then Darkseid would've been far more foreboding.

The compression of the original story weakened it, too. When these issues came out this story set the comics world on fire, and this arc was the only interior pages that Michael Turner did for either Marvel or DC. This story worked better as a comics story in my opinion.

Conroy, Daly, and Glau were good. Conroy wasn't as spot on this time, it seemed. Ah well, All-Star Superman should be good.

Well I really enjoyed it. Maybe not quite as good as Under the Red Hood, but still really good. And a whole universe better than the last Superman Batman Public Enemies which I didn't care for at all.

I didn't read the book, so I had nothing to compare it to. There where a few nit picky things that bugged me, but I am sure they where explained in the comic.

Overall these last two DCU films have been really good.
