Hi Def DV...We have access to 4 JVC HD cameras off of their 110 series. They're incredible.

Another AI student is doing a project during our break as well and she's shooting 35 mm film...which is not only expensive as hell, but...not really that necessary, IMO.

But yeah HD DV is our route.

I agree, but I do like the HD DV route, things will be easier to composite later.

Good luck!

Ok, are you talking about HDV or HD? I never heard of HD DV

HDV, I guess, is the proper term for what I was referring to...meaning high-definition video.

The new Bat-Cowl. A work in progress but it'll be complete soon. It's a hybrid of both "Batman Dead End" and "TDK"

"Dead End" in the fact that the face is more organic. "TDK" in that the head and neck will be two seperate pieces.

I especially like the ears on this one.

I hate extremely long ears, as I think it looks almost goofy, but get the ears too short and it takes away a lot of the menace of the shape. This one really nailed it, IMO. I also like the sculpting on the side, the detail makes it look really good.

Compliments to the maker.

We're also going ahead with the white contact lenses look from "Dead End" as far as the eyes are concerned.

Something a little more human than full blown lenses, but still giving off that inhuman vibe that I always thought Batman would have.

Who did you have to sculpt it? Or did you do it?

Scott Wheelis.

He runs gothicartwork.com and was brought on for an episode of "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."

He'll also be doing the make up for
The Penguin
I know it's awesome.

So we're gonna be shooting Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and then we'll be heading out to TN for all of the Batmobile footage.
