hey everyone, back from Comic Con!!! Here are some pics from the signing we did for City of Scars. Had a pretty good turn out and at one point had a pretty long line. Me, Rachel, and Paul were there signing. We even brought the Scarface doll, who was a bigger hit than all of us!

Wow, Looks like it was a great event. Must have been a lot of fun.
You look tired in one photo, must have signed a lot of books? :p
Fans appear to have been an interesting bunch.
One of these days, I'm going to have to fly out to Comic Con and check it out. Thanks for posting these snap-shots for us.

Jist watched this movie for a second time - and the whole tone, feel of it for a Batman movie is perfect.
I'm also fascinated by the massive setpieces at the carnival i.e. all the extras, and how it all looked so professional!
A big question I have for you Aaron is that - similar in the way that the DCU Original Movie releases are 75mins - would you consider doing your Batman as a feature length release?
We shot on Sony professional grade HD quality. We shot as we went along, the film was not shot 21 days in a row, but 21 over 12 months.
As for Joker make up, we wanted a slightly more realistic Joker design.
Although, there is a slightly different design that is in one of the deleted scenes that is far more sinster, which actually still works in the film.
Batman's narration is possibly my favorite thing in the film. As everyone knows, I love pscyhology and the thought of what makes us who we are and what we do, hencing making Batman's mind SUPER interesting. Sadly, in all his cinematic appearances, he doesnt say much, so we never really get to know whats going on. He is often portrayed as the most boring character in his movies, which is sad, because is by far the most fascinating. Plus, we've never see Batman narrate in live action, even though he does it in EVERY comic. The true plot and point of the film lies with in the narration.
We are still working on the making of and the extended cut of the film, look for those in November. We are still working with our Red Eye charity stuff and finishing up Here Lies Revelations. If you havent seen our Charity video, here it is! Help us make a difference!
