I've been mulling over an idea for a fanfilm for a little while now. What I want to do is a combination of The Dark Knight and the 60's Adam West show (my two favorite versions). I want to have some aspects be dark and serious like TDK, while maintaining a level of "campiness" like the 60's show. The problem is, I can't find a balance between the two. I don't know if I should re-enact a 60's episode like it was TDK, or re-enact TDK like it was the 60's show, etc. Any input on this would be appreciated.

(PS - hey, I see some familiar faces here. Wink)

But isn't that sort of what makes the show "camp"? The fact that it takes itself so seriously? All the ridiculous plots, dialogue, situations, etc. that are done with a straight face... that's what was so hilarious about that show.

The fact that these polar opposite incarnations are your favorites is awesome. Reminds me of that Dark Knight trailer that someone put together with footage from the TV show.

And yeah... that's totally spot on.. Forever is the perfect middle ground.
